The Majority Leader is dissatisfied with Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a prominent member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Mr. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Mr. Asare Otchere-Darko has brought baseless accusations against him.
According to the Suame politician, he has been accused of inciting some members of his caucus to advocate for the Finance Minister’s dismissal.
The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, however, has refuted the allegations. “Out of nowhere, we hear Gabby Otchere-Darko on his Asaase Radio blaming me of inciting the occurrence; for what? What am I to gain by doing that?” Following the denial, the Majority Leader questioned the authority of his purported accuser in the government’s grand strategy.
