Olivier Giroud tied Thierry Henry’s all-time scoring record for France with his 50th and 51st goals for France either side of halftime, in addition to goals scored by Kylian Mbappe and United-linked Adrien Rabiot.
Raphael Varane had recovered from an injury and was expected to start tonight’s play, but the United defender sat on the bench for the remainder of the game.
Although Les Bleus won today’s match, neither France nor Argentina kept a clean sheet.
